Owner Surrender:
We are a foster-based rescue and can only take dogs when we have an open appropriate fitting foster home. At this time we are full.

If the dog was adopted from a facility, shelter, or rescue - Please reach out to that organization. Most have a policy that requires the dog to be given back to them in the event you can no longer keep the dog versus giving it away or surrendering it to another facility/person/organization.

Found A Stray Dog!

💥💥💥PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE💥💥💥

Do not take an animal that you have found out of the area it was found without contacting local police, animal control or other animal service agencies! Removing animals from their local area will lower the chances of their owner finding them.

Not every animal is homeless or abused.

Dogs and cats can escape and get away. It happens. They can get dirty and stinky, lose weight and to put it plainly, look downright terrible after being outside on their own. This does NOT mean they are unloved, or unwanted.

Announce to the world that you found or lost pet! But start with local authorities! Contact local police, animal control, or other animal service agencies to see where you should bring the dog to complete the “stray hold” since you are not obligated to keep this dog.

This dog may have a microchip that can help connect him to his owners, or the local authorities may have a missing dog report on file for that dog. Next file a report with Lost Dogs Illinois and then look to see if the dog you found has been reported missing, and lastly create a flyer to post all over the area and on social media.
